Recruitment for Shropshire FA Focus Groups

Shropshire FA have reconstituted the committees to ensure they meet the objectives of our strategy and are reflective of the people in our game.

Following a review of the governance structures, Shropshire FA have reconstituted the committees to ensure they meet the objectives of our strategy and are reflective of the people involved in our game. The County will now have focus groups and  we would like to recruit people from specific areas of the game to be members of our new focus groups to complement the existing representatives for the start of the 2022-23 season.

 

The following roles and focus groups are listed below. Please see attached the new terms of reference for each group and an application form for the groups which outlines the role, responsibilities and commitment required.

 

Referees Focus Group -              An active match official who is a member of a local Referee’s Association

 

Participation Focus Group -       

A player representative

A coach representative

An England Accredited club representative

A representative from small sided football

A representative with a facility background

 

Football Regulatory Board -       Club/League Welfare Officer

 

If you are interested in becoming a member of the group please complete the application form and the Equality and Diversity Form attached and send to mick.murphy@shropshirefa.com by the 26th August.

 

You can apply to be on more than 1 group, however if successful you can only sit on one group. Expenses are paid for attendance for meetings and any other Shropshire FA business.
