My role is to lead the delivery of The Shropshire FA Business Strategy, spearheading the strategic direction and culture of Shropshire FA, working in partnership with key stakeholders to enhance Shropshire FA's major priorities. I am responsible and accountable for the day-to-day running of the County FA including stakeholder management and overall business sustainability. I perform the role of Senior Safeguarding Lead (SSL) overseeing effective safeguarding delivery across the County FA and grassroots football and deliver and utilise our Charitable status for the benefit of people in Shropshire

My roles include leading on all aspects relating to football governance, discipline and regulation. Lead the affiliation of clubs and ensure safeguarding requirements are met. Ensure leagues fully comply with The FA Standard Code of Rules (adult and youth) prior to sanctioning.
Provide the highest level of customer excellence to support volunteers across all FA Technology systems. Manage the administration of the County Cup competitions. To support the adoption of FA technology systems across grassroots football.
To contribute to the effective implementation of The FA's Safeguarding Operating Standard for County FAs. Contribute to ensuring that safeguarding and equality are embedded throughout the County FA and grassroots football. To act as Deputy Senior Safeguarding Lead and be important part of the safeguarding team.
Responsible for the day-to-day finance of the business, manage budgets and provide quarterly reports to the Board of Directors.

Tom is responsible for facility development across the county as well as being responsible for refereeing. Tom oversees new and existing projects across the region looking to improve and develop football facilities providing a more enjoyable and accessible playing experience for participants. He supports organisations in using PitchPower and accessing Football Foundation funding to improve the quality of their grass pitches and ancillary facilities
Tom is responsible for the recruitment, conversion, retention and progression of our referee workforce. He organises our Referee Courses and oversees our offer of development and support to match officials.

Phoebe’s main role is to lead on Inclusion and Equality for the Shropshire Football Association, this includes developing opportunities for the non traditional groups and recreational opportunities. Additionally, Phoebe will support the review and development of all competition and league structures to ensure they meet the needs of all players with a particular emphasis on the Female and Disability pathway.

To provide administration support to all Shropshire FA run Leagues by completing player registrations, supporting clubs, developing fixtures and completing administrative duties.
Supporting Company Secretary on a day-to-day basis whilst assisting with:
- Affiliation of clubs and league sanctioning.
- Ensuring leagues fully comply with The FA Standard Code of Rules (Adult and Youth) prior to sanctioning.
- Delivery of the CPD, liaising with key stakeholders to meet the needs of the game.
- Organise events alongside The Participation Team.
- Administer the running of County Cup Competitions.
Contribute to ensuring that safeguarding and equality are embedded throughout the Shropshire Football Association and grassroots football.

Sam is the Designated Safeguarding Lead for Shropshire. She is the point of contact for anyone within football for players, coaches, officials, parents who have any safeguarding concerns. Sam works closely with our network of club and league Welfare Officers, The FA’s Safeguarding Team and external statutory safeguarding bodies such as LADO’s and Police and Social Care. Sam is also responsible for the wider workforce, offering support, advice, training, cpd for not only welfare officers but coaches, managers, club personnel and the wider volunteer workforce.
