BECOME AN FA MARS JUST PLAY CENTRE

Shropshire FA is encouraging local clubs and organisations to become an FA Mars Just Play Centre in the 2019/20 season. 

Whether you already have a group of interested participants or you’re looking to provide an opportunity for those in your local community, submit your application and in return we can offer a range of benefits to getting involved.

FA Mars Just Play gives the casual footballer a chance to turn up to a venue and play football. The Just Play kickabout is recreational football at its best – it’s about turning up for an hour of exercise and a bit of fun. It’s football for those who can’t or don’t want to commit to an eight-month long season of matches and training.

Female only Just Play Centres

If you are thinking of becoming a FA Just Play Centre for females, there is an opportunity to apply for funding up to £300 to run either of the below recreational sessions for females, so they become self-sustainable.  (click on link below)

• 16+ Recreational Sessions
• 30+ Female Football Sessions
• Women's Walking Football Sessions

(There is only a limited amount of funding and not everyone will be successful.)

Win Tickets to watch the Lionesses

The FA and Mars are running a national prize giveaway. The first half of the prize is a money can’t buy opportunity for you and your mates to meet the Lionesses at their open training session on Tuesday 5 November ahead of their clash with Germany. The second half of the prize? Well that’s a surprise.

Simply register and participate in a Just Play session and you’ll be entered automatically in the prize draw (terms and conditions). The draw closes on 16 October 2019.
