The FA Respect Awards 2015-16 has been launched

The FA Respect Awards 2015-2016 have been launched by the FA to recognise and thank those Leagues, Clubs and Individuals who have gone the extra mile…

This year’s Awards are being run nationally and the FA are asking for nominations through a specially dedicated website

The FA is looking to reward those in the following categories:

PROFESSIONAL GAME

We will recognise the Fair Play Award Winners in the Premier League and Football League. An Award will also be made to the Premier League club considered to have the most sporting fans.

LEAGUES

We will recognise inspirational leagues in the following areas of the game: National League System, Women’s Pyramid of Football, Grassroots Adult League and Grassroots Youth League.

CLUBS

We will recognise clubs at all levels; National League System, Women’s Pyramid, Grassroots Club.

INDIVIDUALS

The Respect Individual Award is available to anyone in Football that by their conduct provides an example of the way in which the game should be played, officiated, developed or administered.

PEOPLE’S AWARD

We will recognise an individual, team, club or league involved in a spontaneous act of Respect displayed this or last season.

 

The closing date for nominations is Friday 1st July; all award winners will be notified and asked to attend an awards ceremony prior to the FA Community Shield on Sunday 7th August.
