AFC Telford United

Community Day

AFC Telford United are pleased to announce that our home fixture on the 16th March against Stamford AFC will be earmarked as our Community Day. We are inviting all players, coaches, parents and guardians down to watch our home fixture as a celebration of local football in the local area.

As a result we are offering all junior football teams the following:

  • Free entry to all registered players (Under 7s to Under 16s)
  • Free entry for 2 coaches per team
  • Option to purchase additional adult tickets for parents or guardians at the reduced price of £10.
  • Additional sibling tickets at £1 each

We are encouraging all players to come down in your club colours and enjoy an afternoon of football. Every year we see hundreds of young players grace the New Bucks Head pitch on finals days and we hope to see you on Saturday 16th March for an afternoon of football.

To ensure we provide a safe environment for everyone attending our fixtures we are asking that an adult; either a coach, parent or guardian is present for every 5 under 16s. For example for a squad of 16 players would require 4 adults present. Please do not ask to exceed this ratio as we have put this in place to maintain safety for all and ensure everyone present at the game conducts themselves in an orderly manner at what is likely to be a much larger than usual attendance.

In the run up to the game, we will be finalising plans for the fixture including a number of activities on the day in our fan zone. We will of course keep you updated as a number will be weather dependant. So far we have a number of inflatables including an inflatable football darts challenge.

We hope to see you on the 16th March
