Shropshire FA recognises the importance of high quality facilities for football within the county. We work in partnership with local authorities in the county to understand the demand for facilities, protect playing fields and to address any issues with the loss of facilities.

So whether you are looking to start new teams, retain existing ones, develop coaches, purchase equipment, renovate facilities or develop new ones, we commit to supporting all funding applications from county clubs, leagues and facility providers with advice and guidance.

Funding for facilities is constantly changing, but Shropshire FA aims to keep you up to date with the main funding bodies that can support the development of any facility project.

If you are intending to improve your football facilities (which may involve 3G football turf pitches, changing room pavilions / clubhouses,  grass pitch improvements or better indoor / outdoor spaces) please contact  Darren Beech 01743-362769 or via email at so that we can prove advice and guidance. 

Following this, you may be asked to complete an Expression of Interest (EOI) form which can be found HERE

Please note if you have already started work on your project (for example, building/construction has already begun), then it is unlikely that your project will be eligible for funding
