Walking Football Festival
Shropshire FA is pleased to announce its first Walking Football Festival
The festival will act as a curtain raiser for the Shropshire FA Walking Football League, due to launch in March/April next year.
The event will take place on the 5th February 2023, 10am-2pm, at Goalzone @ AFC Telford United, priced at £20 per team. Refreshments, including cake and other bits, will be included!
Football Participation Officer for Community and Investment, Isaac Pollard, highlighted:
“We are looking for walking football teams to register now to be involved in what should be a brilliant day of football! Walking football is a fantastic way for people to get active and playing competitively or recreationally, and is a great way to socialise, network and feel a sense of community.”
