FEMALE FRIENDLY CLUB WORKSHOP – BOOK NOW!
Those wanting to assist in the growth of women’s football in Shropshire have a great opportunity to do just that this February with an FA Female Friendly Club Training Workshop, supported by Barclays, taking place in the county.
Shropshire FA will host the Female Friendly Club Training Workshop at Shrewsbury Town in the Community (Reech) Hub on Monday 24th February 2020 from 6pm to 9pm. (Arrival 5.30pm) The workshop will give practical advice for clubs on how best to create an environment that encourages women and girls to get involved in football.
Specifically, learners will be given advice on how to increase female participation within football at their club by two FA-appointed consultants, as well as assistance from Shropshire FA Football Development Officer, Eve Bailey.
Off and on-pitch considerations will be examined, with real-life case studies also set to be included, giving attendees an excellent idea of how to implement the theory learned within their own club.
Participants should arrive at approximately 5:30pm and the workshop is expected get underway at 6pm and finish at 9pm.
Two representatives from each attending club would be ideal, with coaches and club committee members very welcome to attend.
The workshop is FREE to attend and food and refreshments will also be provided from 5.30pm..
