SHROPSHIRE FA IS PROUD TO BE SUPPORTING STONEWALL’S RAINBOW LACES CAMPAIGN AND IS ENCOURAGING LOCAL CLUBS TO GET INVOLVED DURING THE WEEKEND OF 30 NOVEMBER – 1 DECEMBER.

Shropshire FA have 100 pair of laces that are being made available for local clubs across Shropshire to request before the activation weekend at the end of this month, providing a fantastic opportunity to show visual support for Stonewall’s campaign out on the pitch.

Football has an amazing power to bring people together, but 4 in 10 LGBT people don’t feel that sport is welcoming.

That’s why we need you to play your part and help make football everyone’s game. 

We encourage all players, coaches, referees, volunteers and parents in Shropshire to challenge anti-LGBT language, celebrate LGBT people in sport and wear Rainbow Laces to show you care. 

To claim your FREE Rainbow Laces from Shropshire FA, please email eve.bailey@shropshirefa.com Laces will be given out on a first come first first serve basis.  Clubs claiming free laces will be provided with guidance on how they can show their support by promoting their fixture date, conveying key messages through The FA digital toolkit available.
