Shropshire FA Youth Council are organising a Football Young Leaders Day

 If you’re 14 – 18 years of age, passionate about becoming a coach, referee or working within the football industry and looking for that initial platform to begin your journey, then Shropshire FA Youth Council’s Leadership day can do just that. 

This year’s Young Football Leadership Day is focused around those individuals who want to further their development as a leader, coach or referee as well as learning ways in which to promote the game, back in your local school/college/teams/clubs across the county. 

Throughout the day, all young leaders will participate in Coaching, Refereeing, Safeguarding and Media/promotion workshops along with small sub-topics throughout the day. All of our workshops will be delivered by qualified, experienced and knowledgeable FA and County FA Staff as well as members of Shropshire FA’s Youth Council that are highly enthusiastic and passionate about the development of the next generation within the county.

Venue: Telford College, Haybridge Rd, Wellington, Telford, TF1 2NP
Date: Tuesday, 30th October 2018 
Times: 9:30am Registration – 4:30pm Departure 
Cost: £5.00 per Young Leader 

Further Requirements:
Aged Between 14-18 
Interest in Football Leadership
Previous volunteering or leadership experience is preferred however is not necessary

Our Aims as a Youth Council is to:

• Engage the next generation of enthusiastic young leaders in various practical and classroom-based sessions 

• Allow a platform that helps young leaders begin their journey within the football industry

• Create exposure and opportunity for the young leaders to network with industry professionals 

• Encourage peer learning and self-reflection throughout the day to help personally develop in a variety of ways.
