The trials are for under-12s, under-14s and under-16s teams and will take place at Shrewsbury Sports Village on Tuesday 14 June and Tuesday 21 June.

Under-12s sessions will take place from 5.30-7pm, under-14s from 6-7.30pm and under-16s from 7-8.30pm.

Shrewsbury Town in the Community were recently awarded a license for the Regional Talent Club (RTC) which will be responsible for the delivery of elite girls’ football development.

Shrewsbury Town in the Community's girls and women's football development officer, Peter Wilson, said: "We are delighted to release the trial dates for the girls regional talent club.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for players who are looking to further develop themselves as footballers competing against other elite girls centres.

"The trials are open to anyone in the Shropshire and surrounding areas and we are looking forward to seeing all of the talent on show on the two dates."
