As the facility prepares for the arrival of the 15 international teams on Saturday 13^th June the squad have undertaken their first training session in glorious sunshine. Head Coach Keith Webb commented “it is great to finally arrive and have valuable preparation prior to our opening game against Japan. The players are looking sharp and we are just fine tuning the final touches. The next 15 days are a wonderful opportunity to showcase CP football and the England players and we will all be trying as hard as we can to improve our world ranking and qualify for Rio.”

England are currently ranked 10^th in the world and have been drawn in a very competitive group with Ukraine (rank 1^st) and Iran (rank 5^th), they are also the nominated country for qualification to the Rio Paralympics.
