FA Level 1 to Level 2 Bridging Workshop – Introduction to Level 2
Ahead of a Level 2 course that starts in February at Telford College. This workshop is designed to give learners who have successfully achieved the FA Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football, an insight into what the FA Level 2 involves. The workshop will…
- Provide an overview of the Level 2 course
- Explore what the 3 x blocks of learning cover in terms of coaching & game knowledge
- Clarify what is expected of a learner in order to complete the FA Level 2
- Showcase a practical demonstration of Level 1 to Level 2 coaching delivery
- Present attendees with an opportunity to interact & ask questions
The workshop is an excellent opportunity for those current Level 2 learners to receive a refresher, as well as receive information on the latest Level 2 format, which changed in August 2016. So, existing Level 2 learners are encouraged to attend as there will be something to take from the evening in terms of coaching CPD in addition to receiving licensed CPD hours.

FA Level 2 to Level 3 Bridging Workshop – Who We Are
Building on the first Level 2 to Level 3 Bridging Workshop delivered earlier in the season (January 2020), this workshop is designed to give more insight into the ‘WHO WE ARE’ block of the course.
Everything we do as coaches should be underpinned by our values, beliefs and philosophy. This ranges from your behaviour, session plans, environment and your approach to player development.
In The FA Level 3 (UEFA B) in Coaching Football coaches are tasked with sharing and critically reviewing their philosophy, to determine whether their actions and behaviours are true to their identity.
This workshop forms a link to that session by introducing the different reflective strategies you can start to use to analyse your learning environment, practices and your approach to player development.
It also shows ways you can reflect and adapt the core values and beliefs of your philosophy, depending on how these are shaping and impacting your day-to-day coaching.
The workshop is an excellent opportunity for those current Level 3 / UEFA B coaches to receive a refresher, especially those that completed the course pre-August 2017 when the course was updated. So, existing Level 3 / UEFA B coaches are encouraged to attend as there will be something to take from the evening in terms of coaching CPD in addition to receiving licensed CPD hours.
