Shrewsbury Region Course - Sunday 11th January - Sunday 1st February 2009 at Shropshire F.A. (next to Shrewsbury Town F.C.)
Telford Region Course - Friday 23rd January - Sunday 25th January 2009 at Idsall Sports Centre, Shifnal.
Ludlow Region Course - Friday 6th February, Saturday 7th February & Saturday 14th February 2009 at SBS Stadium, Ludlow Town F.C.
Cost of Courses is £60 (under 18 yrs of age) £75 (over 18yrs).
Applications are welcome from all clubs affiliated with the Shropshire F.A. to enrol a person connected with their club to become a referee. Benefits will enable the club to have an official and FA Registered Referee for their matches.
Ex-Players coming to the end of their careers or cannot progress further. This group of people having been players themselves, understand the game and can empathise with teams having experienced match officials first hand. Having this background of experience can only be of advantage.
The Shropshire Football Association Referees Academy is now in existence with Shrewsbury Town Football Club and improve the standards of refereeing in the county. Becoming a referee will allow you to progress from our development programme and to the Academy.
