The Shropshire stage of the Mens FA Futsal Cup will be running at Shrewsbury Sports Village and will commence on Sunday 1st March 2009, 6pm - 10pm. We only have 8 male adult team places (minimum age of 16 years) for the Shropshire tournament and the winners will progress to a play off competition for qualification to the national 3 day final.
This year all matches will be played on the large Futsal pitch (40m x 20m).
Dates: Sunday 22nd March, 29th March, 5th April, 19th April, 26th April, 10th May and 17th May
Time Kick Offs: 6pm, 7pm, 8pm & 9pm. 1 x 40 Minute match
Venue: Shrewsbury Sports Village
Cost: £175, (7 Matches) all teams to be invoiced by Shropshire County Council following the completion of the Tournament, if a team does not turn up they will be charged an extra £30 per match.
Managers Meeting:
Shropshire FA will be holding a managers meeting on Sunday 22nd February for all successful teams at 3pm – 3.30pm at Shrewsbury Sports Village, this will also give teams/managers an opportunity to watch the West Midlands Futsal League which is being hosted at Shrewsbury Sports Village.
We are expecting more than eight applications and we will sort through accordingly and all successful teams will be notified prior to the managers meeting.Please return the attached application form and return by Friday 13th February.
